Calipari still has lot for Knox to learn

Freshman Kevin Knox was the one Kentucky player who shot well from 3-point range against Kansas Tuesday, one big reason he led UK with 20 points in the four-point loss.

“We’re still trying to get him to do the hardest thing. If the ball swings along the perimeter, don’t shoot 3s. If the ball goes inside and out to you, shoot it. Shoot the 3. If it swings along the perimeter, drive it. You get it in the lane and you shoot that runner,” Calipari said after Tuesday’s loss.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Already boasting the No. 1 rated recruiting class following the fall signing period, the Kentucky men’s basketball team added to its arsenal with three additional signees in the spring signing window, which closed on Wednesday. Jemarl Baker, Kevin Knox and Jarred Vanderbilt signed national letters of intent to suit up for the Wildcats in 2017-18.
