Field of dreams! Awesome pic! That’s what it’s about right there…
Talking about the kids pics anyway. The young kids kicking and passing the football while waiting to get autograph’s.
Relating to your point about the young kids, Mr. Hopewell, I walked around to the different positions and watched our players interacting with the young kids as they gave them their autographs. While I could only see the youngsters’ backs, I smiled as I had watched our players’ smiles. Our “kids,” after having practiced two hours in the steamy heat, seemed to be having a ball as they had asked them what position they played or wanted to play. Too, I know they were making so many wonderful memories for those little kids.
Most of all, though, as I had watched, I had felt so proud of our “kids,” along with feeling proud of our coaching staff for recruiting this type of young men (and how nice they had been to all of us fans, by the way). Absolutely, though, the “field of dreams” is a good description of what had surely been going on within some of those youngsters’ minds, and just perhaps some of those little guys will make their dreams come true, just as Jacob Tamme and so many others have done through the decades. GO CATS!!!
Great post as always Tana
And Tana, I for one just like you, sure hope some of them will takes us to the promised land in their dreams one day! I hope they are already dreaming of WINNING the SEC and playing for a national championship.
Go Cats!
