The University of Kentucky’s men’s basketball team as well as head coach John Calipari and national player of the year Anthony Davis have been selected as an ESPY nominee in the category/categories of: Best Team, Best Coach (Calipari), Breakthrough (Davis), Best Male College (Davis).

The 20th annual ESPYs will air live July 11 at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles with host Rob Wiggle. ESPN describes the event as the one night where the sports world joins together to celebrate the best moments of the year. Fans can select the winners by voting online at ESPN.com/ESPYs. ESPN will air the ESPY Nomination Special Wednesday night at 11 on ESPN2.
