Just in case you missed it, the NBA released actual measurement from players attending the NBA Combine in Chicago and provide an actual measurement of how big players really are.
Anthony Davis came in at 6-9.25 in socks and 6-10.5 in shoes with a 7-5.5 win span and 9-0 reach. Terrence Jones was 6-8.25 in socks with a 7-2.5 wing span and 8-9.5 reach. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had a 8-8.5 reach and was 6-5.75 in socks with a 7-0 wing span.
Here’s how the other Cats measured:
Doron Lamb… 6′ 3.25” socks — 6′ 4.75” shoes — 6′ 6.75” wing — 8′ 3” reach
Darius Miller… 6′ 6.75” socks — 6′ 7.5” shoes — 6′ 9” wing — 8′ 6.5” reach
Marquis Teague… 6′ 1” socks — 6′ 2” shoes — 6′ 7.25” wing — 8′ 2.5” reach
Makes it easy to see why Kentucky coach John Calipari — and opponents — constantly talked about the length of the Wildcats last season.

And “8″ was a long time coming!! Never fear the next championship will not be as “long”
