Another Florida player, three-star offensive tackle Nick Haynes of Niceville, will make a visit to UK this weekend with his father after Brown made a visit earlier this week. He’s also being recruited by Florida International, Rutgers, Jacksonville State, Marshall, Old Dominion, Southern Miss, Central Florida and Western Kentucky. Plus, Florida State has contacted the 6-4,300-pound Haynes recently along with UCLA.
Haynes played basketball before adding football as a junior.
Kentucky has just two offensive line commits in its current recruiting class.
“FSU (Florida State) has also entered the picture with him after they had a couple decommits this week,” Hays said. “One caveat for him is that he’s always been a hoops player and his coach said he would love to be able to watch UK basketball in college.”

We need some big old linemen. Come on Nick, we love you already, and need you.
Larry V..thanks for keeping the football news front and center. Come September UK”s gonna “LOCK AND LOAD!”
Lock and Load works for me Larry Pup
Larry, believe we have 3 commits in Day, Myers and Meadows, but 4 or 5 would be good!
Big athletic guys are at a premium…sign him up!
Larry, only about 10 minutes away from Niceville while here in Florida for the winter. Get me his address and I’ll drive on up and give him the ole Kentucky pep talk.
ColdSpringMike, when UK gets him, need you to go do an interview for our site here and tell us all about him
Larry V..any news on Badet and Kemp? I understood they were supposed to announce their decisions tonight.
Just got in from great local high school basketball game and got story on commits posted for you LarryPup. But you knew this was coming. Believe in me when I tell you (ha ha)
You got that right Larry V. I appreciate your good work so much. I have read your other article on these two. Great news for BBN.
I am seeing reports that it was UK they both committed to.
