I never know what else to do but hang in there with them through the good and bad. Win or lose, and no matter what, I root em on every time and in every year. I Love this team, and appreciate the hard work and accomplishments they were able to achieve. National Runner Up for a team heavy with freshmen is a real accomplishment. They just came up short in the final game. UConn is a great team, and I knew going in it would be a tough game for UK to win. That team has beaten UK twice now in a final 4 game. Hope UK gets another shot at them in the future. Cal, go get well now, and come back and coach some more champions up. Big Blue Forever!!

Their Two Guards beat us…Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier.

Napier and Boatright in this game too. They are great players. I am still proud of UK and the effort. UConn hit some shots that were crazy, and UK didn’t. Just that simple.

        1. Larry Pup,

Giffey did a lot of damage too Monday night. He hit some big shots that stole momentum from UK late in the shot clock too.

Your observation on the UConn guards is spot on LTC but UK is about to introduce their own “waterbug” guard in Tyler Ulis. He is everything Walker and Napier were only better. Our former next door neighbors in Glen Ellyn IL sent us a DVD of a Mt. Carmel game in the Chicago Catholic League.
A 5′-9″ kid who plays like he is 6′-8″ only faster…..much faster.

I smiled at that also….” You nailed it.” What a great pick of Ulis, standing next to Karl towns….
