Larry, I enjoy listening to your radio broadcast. I have to ask you though, how in the world do you justify bringing Joker back? After the Arkansas loss you said on WLAP that there was no way Joker should be retained. Now after a close loss to UGA you change your mind? It is that mindset that kept Bill Curry here for far to long. It is also the reason UK never succeeds in the SEC. I truly respect your input and I usually dont disagree with you, but this really has me scratching my head. I have always been a huge Joker supporter, but I just cant do it anymore. His 3 years have been a disaster. The losses to UL, WKU, and Arkansas this year have shown that he has no clue. His teams are never prepared and show no intensity. How do you come out after fall camp and look so inept? You cant blame injuries and youth when it is obvious there is no leadership from the head coach. Even when this team was healthy they looked horrible. I am done supporting Joker or UK until something is done. I am just curious how a loss to UGA could possibly change your mind. They still gave up 500 yards of offense and to be honest UGA dropped 3 easy would be long TD passes.
I have not changed my mind Todd. I am just saying that I believe things could happen to see Joker get to continue. What I think and what I sense could happen are not always one and the same. To me, losses and ticket sales dictate change. But I am not the one making the call and several UK sources telling me there is good chance Joker will return if team finishes season with couple of wins and is competitive
