At least five future Kentucky Wildcats — Andrew and Aaron Harrison, Marcus Lee, James Young and Dakari Johnson — have been selected to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game April 3 in Chicago.
Two other players that remain major UK targets — Andrew Wiggins and Aaron Gordon — also were named to the team. All seven will also be playing in the Jordan Brand Classic in New York on April 27. The Harrisons and Wiggins have also been selected to play in the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland.
The McDonald’s All American Game will be broadcast live on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. EST and will be preceded by the girls game on ESPNU (6 p.m. tip).

It could end up being 6 or 7, depending on how things break over the next couple of months.
Incredible. Absolutely incredible and unbelievable.
It’s good to be the king.
Would love to have Parker and Gordon, join UK….But, I would also be fine with just Gordon, along side WCS….
I agree about Gordon. Been saying that for weeks, I would love to see Gordon in UK blue. The kid is a BEAST and would bring toughness to the squad for sure.
And WCS would have a year and 6 months under his belt, with 20-25 more pounds….” TWO BEAST “, one agile & lengthy and the other, powerful & precise…
Still 3 big fish still in the ocean out there, Randle, Gordon and Wiggins. Lets get one , maybe 2 and with a few returning from this years team 2013/2014 season could be one for the ages.
One would be great, two would be out of this world-wow! Wiggins is the biggest catch IMO…can’t have enough quality players. Nerlens, continuing to send my well wishes and prayers! This is truly the golden era of UK basketball!
Five McDonald’s All Americans plus more to come! Goodwin, Harrow, Cauley-Stein, Poytress had better move on. These new studs don’t intend to sit on the bench. Wiltjer will be an after thought. Hood and Polson will revert back to their original purpose, a little unused Kentucky flavor to salve the wounds of those who remember when UK won with players from Kentucky.
Some say that this will not be just another Calipari number recruiting class…ho- hum…but the best college recruiting class in the history of the sport. UK, under Calipari is unique. We can root for the current team, look forward to what these recruits bring next year, and even look down the road to another great center in 2014. How great it is.
