Tywanna Patterson thanks UK fans

Tywanna Patterson is glad University of Kentucky fans seem to understand that her son did nothing wrong and does not yet have the new vehicle to drive that his parents purchased for him.
A published report today said UK junior Patrick Patterson drove a new vehicle to and from Rupp Arena Wednesday night for the Blue-White Game. Patterson’s mother verified early today they had purchased a vehicle for him, but he did not have it and rode home with them Wednesday night after going out to dinner.
“I am going to enjoy my evening and relax! Thank to all the fans for their support ,” Tywanna Patterson said.
She said her family had been offered an apology for the mistake and any “negativity” it might have caused.
“It’s just too bad that false statements get out there. I am thankful everyone knows exactly what happened now or at least I hope they do,” she said.

I wish and I hope more families in the future.Whether they are current players or recruits families refuse to do any interviews with Mr. Tipton. The sad thing is what has happened with you and I know this isn’t the first time he’s tried his little game. He will most likely now go after John Walls mother. I really hope somebody gets to her and tell her do not take any interviews with Jerry Tipton.
You’re right he doesn’t have UK’s best interest at heart. He’s a grouch and spoiler of all excitement, a complete buzz kill!
Jerry Tipton likes to take a positive story about UK, investigate it to see theres any flaws or holes in the story then put it in print. In the past Tipton use to hound Kelenna Azubuike about his dad’s legal affairs after games, just like his interview with John Wall the other night after the B&W Scrimmage. It was so sad to see how uncomfortable his questions was making John Wall.
I don’t expect everything to be positive from sports writters about UK when there is a story that needs to be told. Just don’t like Tipton agenda of digging for things or not letting a subject die when the matter is taking care of.

And her son made the AP preseason All-American team. UK has not had an All-American since Tayshaun Prince in the 2001-2002 season
This goes out to the Patterson’s and mostly to Pat. It will not be easy this year Pat playing on the perimater,But this is going to take you along way in the future young man.You will struggle at times,but keep that head up and keep that wonderful family close and you will make us all prouder than we already are.
