Former Kentucky forward Sacha Killeya-Jones didn’t need long to find a new school after announcing he was transferring from UK.

Killeya-Jones has decided to join North Carolina State and coach Kevin Keatts. Killeya-Jones made his announcement on Twitter

Killeya-Jones will have to sit out the 2018-19 season per NCAA rules as a transfer and then have two years of eligibility left

He played in 49 games at UK and averaged 3.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He was a five-star recruit from Chapel Hill, N.C., and a McDonald’s All-American.

Former Florida International guard Eric Lockett announced on Monday he would be finishing his career at N.C. State as a grad transfer. Keatts also added grad transfer Wyatt Walker from Samford last month. Former Missouri guard Blake Harris, who played high school basketball at Word of God, joined the Wolfpack in January.

  1. I fully expect Sacha to be an impact player at NC State. I look forward to seeing him lead the Wolfpack to victory over the Devils and the Heels.

    GO SACHA !!!

    1. I think he will do great at NC State and year sitting out will be huge plus for him like it was Charles Matthews

  2. Sacha needs to focus on bulking up and getting stronger…not being so limited his opportunities at KY. I hope he does well at NC State.
