Senior Kaz Brown is a big reason the Kentucky volleyball team is 22-3 overall and 13-1 in Southeastern Conference play.
She’ll join me on the Leach Report Tuesday at about 9:10 a.m. to discuss the season. Kentucky will host Georgia Friday at 7 p.m. and Ole Miss Sunday at 2 p.m. in what will be Brown’s final regular-season home match.
She was an all-SEC pick in 2015 and 2016 after earning all-SEC freshman team.
Brown had 12 kills in Sunday’s sweep at Auburn, her eighth time this season with 10 or more kills in a match. She now has 206 kills this season.
Also on the show will be Chris Dortch, publisher of the Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook. There is no other yearbook that provides analysis of every Division I college basketball team like Blue Ribbon and that’s why many coaches subscribe to his yearbook.
Dortch will talk about Tuesday night’s Kansas-Kentucky game in Chicago and provide his insights on the matchups UK will face tonight. He’ll also offer insights on the Southeastern Conference and more.
The final guest on the show will be Kami Bivins. She was at the UK-Utah Valley game with her two daughters, ages 12 and 10, to honor the memory of her husband and their father, Eric Bivins. He served in the Army before passing away last summer due to post traumatic stress syndrome.

The Bivins were introduced during the game and the girls’ video about their father was played on the big screen at Rupp Arena. Big Blue Nation cares helped provide extra tickets for family members and UK made sure that former player Patrick Sparks, who went to school in Muhlenberg County with Eric Bivins, was at the game.
It was a special weekend for Kami Bivins and her family and I’ll let her share that story on The Leach Report.
