UK SEC radio reports start Monday morning on five stations

Beth Mann is having my daily SEC reports on in Cadiz, Hopkinsville this week.

By LARRY VAUGHT

Postseason basketball play starts for Kentucky Friday with the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Nashville, but I will be providing special coverage on the tournament and other UK basketball-related items all weekon various radio stations across the state.

If you happen to get a chance to listen (including online), let me know what you think or suggestions for what type of information you might like to hear.

Here is my daily schedule: 7 a.m. WKYB-FM (107.5), Danville with Mike Archer (a former college basketball player); 7:15 WPBK-FM (102.9), Stanford with Tim Estes; 7:30, WNJK-FM (105.9), Nicholasville with Doug Fain; and 8:10 CST WKDZ-FM (106.5), Cadiz with Alan and Cindy; and WHVO-FM (96.5), Hopkinsville with Ann and Eddie.

Also appreciate the sponsorship from Wilderness Trail Distillery, Dr. Eric King, Inter-County Energy and Jessamine Dry Cleaners.

Also very grateful that Jonathan L. Smith and Karen Moses-Bowling of Lincoln Garrard Broadcasting, Inc, and Choice Radio Corporation for letting me do this for the second year and to Beth Mann, president/CEO of WKDZ/WHVO Radio in western Kentucky for adding my report this year.

The reports will continue on March 13 to discuss the NCAA Tournament possibilities for Kentucky.
I’ll also be on air from Nashville Sunday morning with WLAP-AM (630) and hopefully explaining to Mark Buerger what Kentucky did to get to the championship game.

Here is a link to the BigBlueFans4UK gateway to the SEC Tournament. You can see how the SEC teams finished with respect to Adjusted Net Efficiency, and track the tournament from start to finish, with all games projected to a probable champion based on the ANE analysis of each game, and as games are completed, the actual results replace the projected outcomes.
