  • Kentucky is 20-5 overall, 10-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Alabama is 14-10, 7-5 in the league

o   Kentucky has won at least 20 games for nine-straight seasons, eight of which came under John Calipari’s direction

o   Calipari secured a 23rd consecutive on-court 20-win season – more than any other current active coach

In the Second Half

  • UK led by 18 at the 15:18 mark
  • Alabama cut UK’s lead to 50-43 with 4:42 to play
  • Alabama trimmed the UK lead to six at 55-49 with 2:39 to play, and again at 57-51 with 1:42 to play, but got no closer with a Briscoe layup at the 2:08 mark and a Derek Willis 3-pointer with 1:18 remaining as key moments in stemming the bleeding

  • UK is now 206-4 (.981) under Calipari in games leading by at least 10 points

  • Tied De’Aaron Fox for the team lead with four double-doubles this season
  • Freshman Bam Adebayo had 14 points and seven rebounds in 28 minutes
