Four Kentucky commits were named to the McDonald’s All-American Game Sunday night.
Signees Quade Green, Nick Richards and P.J. Washington were named to the game that will be played March 29 in Chicago. Also named during the show on ESPNU was UK commit Jarred Vanderbilt.
Kentucky coach John Calipari has now had 29 McDonald’s All-Americans during his tenure at UK. He could add to that total, too, as Mohamed Bamba, Kevin Knox and Trae Young were also named McDonald’s All-Americans Sunday night and all three are still being heavily recruited by UK.
Bamba will make an official visit to Kentucky and has narrowed his college choices to four schools. He’s ranked no. 2 in the 2017 recruiting class. Knox is also expected to make an official visit this month. He’s a top 10 ranked player also. Young has not seemed as interested in UK after the addition of Green.
