LEXINGTON, Ky. – With excitement in the air about Kentucky’s potential postseason destination, fans will be able to hear from the Wildcats once UK accepts a bowl bid on Sunday on the Bowl Selection Special presented by Kentucky Branded to be live streamed exclusively on UKathletics.com.

The show – airing live from the recruiting room at Commonwealth Stadium – will begin soon after the official announcement of the bowl game in which UK will play is made. The announcement is expected late Sunday afternoon or early Sunday evening.

Tom Leach, the voice of the Wildcats, and UK Sports Network color analyst Jeff Piecoro will host the broadcast. They will be joined during the 30-minute live stream by members of UK’s team and Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart.

The show will serve as an early preview for UK’s first bowl trip since the 2010 season, as well as a review of a 2016 season in which the Wildcats finished 7-3 to reach bowl eligibility after an 0-2 start, culminating in an upset win at No. 11 Louisville to reclaim the Governor’s Cup.

Fans should visit UKFootballTix.com for full information about bowl tickets and requests can be submitted through your MyUK Account. There, fans can place requests for each bowl in which UK could play. Be sure to select the “deferred payment” method. Please note that you will only be charged for and receive tickets to the bowl game to which UK is selected. Ticket requests will be filled based on availability and are not guaranteed.
