Kentucky now has 20 commitments in its 2017 recruiting class after three-star Oklahoma receiver Isaiah Epps announced on Twitter tonight that he was committed to the Wildcats.
The 6-3, 180-pound Epps made an official visit to Kentucky last weekend just after he was offered a scholarship by the Cats. He also had offers from Tulsa, Illinois, Ball State and Western Michigan.
While Epps is not nationally regarded like Maryland defensive end Joshua Paschal and junior college safety Lonnie Johnson — two players who verbally committed to UK earlier this week — he obviously got UK’s attention.
Kentucky Sports Radio football analyst Freddie Maggard noted on Twitter that Epps has an explosive burst and fluid cuts on pass routes.
