Media members all pick Cats over Cards

Now comes the big question about who each of the media members that I asked thinks will win tonight’s game.

Turns out it is a Big Blue sweep, even though not everyone thinks it will be a big margin.

Jeff Drummond, Publisher All-Wildcats.com: “I think Kentucky should win this game by 12-15 points, but like the Governor’s Cup game showed us this year, crazy things tend to happen in rivalry matchups. If the Cats do win, it will be because they have an efficient offensive night and the Cards won’t be able to generate enough offense to keep pace.”

Tom Leach, UK Radio Network/Leach Report: “I think Kentucky’s offensive firepower and a tendency to minimize its turnovers will be the difference for the Cats in a close one.”

Larry Glover, WVLK LarryGloverLive: “I think UK wins going away. 83-68. UK proved they can be a great rebounding team against UNC and UofL struggles to shoot.  If the Cats hit the glass and the Louisville struggles to shoot, it will be a long, painful night for the Cards and their fans.”

Keith Taylor, Kentucky Forward/Northern Kentucky Tribune: “I think UK’s guard play will propel the Wildcats to a fifth straight win in the series. I don’t think UL can keep up with De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk and Isaiah Briscoe.”

Mark Buerger, WLAP Sunday Morning Sports: “Cats by five. Until Rick proves otherwise, I’ll take Cal.”
