Fans can greet Cats at Commonwealth Stadium Gate 12 at 6 p.m.

Who would have believed when Kentucky started the season 0-2 and then lost starting quarterback Drew Barker to injury that the Cats would end up 7-5 and close the season with a terrific 41-38 upset of Louisville?

Now the Cats are certainly a hot team going into the bowl selection process and getting a chance to play in the Music City Bowl certainly seems realistic now.

“Our fans deserve it. I hope we go to a nice place and have a lot of fans there. Let’s go enjoy it,” Kentucky coach Mark Stoops said about the enhanced bowl status of his team.

If you want to continue the party from the Louisville win, then get to Commonwealth Stadium now. The team is expected back around 6 p.m. and UK athletics is encouraging fans to meet the team at the Gate 12 plaza. That’s about where the Cat Walk starts for home games.

So if  you are wanting to share some love, get to Commonwealth Stadium now.
