NOVEMBER 11, 2016 – As the 2016-17 college basketball season tips off, the odds-makers at www.SportsBettingDime.com, expect more of the same.  Freshmen phenoms will turn pro, many of the same schools will meet in the Final Four and a few big-name coaches will be on the hot seat or bolt for the NBA.  And, like always, don’t expect the four pre-season favorites to all make it to University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale as the odds are set at 10,000/1 that Duke, Kentucky, Kansas and Villanova all reach the Final Four.

To nobody’s surprise, the odds-makers at www.SportsBettingDime.com have established Duke (11/2) as the prohibitive favorites to earn Coach K his sixth NCAA title; Duke’s Grayson Allen (7/2) the favorite to win the Naismith Award; Kansas’ Josh Jackson (2/1) as the odds-on favorite to be the NBA’s #1 draft pick; 4/9 odds that this is Steve Alford’s last year at UCLA; and 7/2 odds that Texas coach Shaka Smart finally accept an offer from an NBA team.

And if you’d like to bet on Villanova’s Kris Jenkins hitting a game winning buzzer beater again this season – don’t.  The odds are 72/1 on him missing a game winning buzzer-beater and 133/1 that he makes one this season.
