Jamal Murray enjoyed his time at Kentucky, but does have one regret.
“I wish I shot the ball better at the beginning of the season. Even though we didn’t know our role or anything like that, I still could have hit shots. That didn’t change,” said Murray today while working at a basketball camp at UK.
“That just kind of messed up my mentality and my thinking. Other than that, I think I could have been more efficient from the start, and not just help me out, but it helps coach’s job out too.”
But he got about what he expected during his year at UK.
“It was a lot of fans, a lot of pressure – kind of, not really – but a lot of demands, responsibilities and winning games. It was a lot of fun,” Murray said.
