Getting to host The Leach Report when Tom Leach needs a day off is a challenge because there’s no way to be as good as Tom. However, it’s also a lot of fun because the listeners and the special guests willing to be on the show.

This Tuesday is I get another opportunity to do that and I couldn’t be happier with the three guests who will join me.

First will be Angela Young. Her son is UK freshman offensive tackle Landon Young. She admits she  might be a bit nervous with her first “live” interview. But she will be great.

She recently attended the UK Women’s Clinic to learn a bit more about what goes on with the UK football program and came back impressed. She’ll be able to give us insights about not only her son, but other parts of the young program.

Next will be Erica Holmes, the wife of PGA standout J.B. Holmes, a Kentucky graduate. Obviously, I was hoping we could talk about another top 10 finish for J.B. in the PGA Championship, but it did not work out that way. Still, he has top five finishes in the Masters and British Open and has won over $2.5 million this year.

She’ll be able to update us on what lies ahead for the former UK golf standout as well as take us back to the miraculous comeback he made from brain surgery a few years ago.

Finally, Lewis Morris will join the program. His daughter, former Bell County standout Maci Morris, will be a sophomore on coach Matthew Mitchell’s team after a successful freshman season. He’ll update us on her status and share his thoughts on the women’s program after an off-season that made more  news than what happened during the season.

He’s a former high school and college athlete and is always a delightful interview.

So make plans now to join me on The Leach Report Tuesday from 9-10 a.m.
