Kentucky-Florida will be on CBS on Sept. 10

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Sept. 10 football matchup between Kentucky and Florida in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla., will be televised on CBS with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. ET.

The announce team for CBS Sports will feature Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Allie LaForce. Lundquist, who is celebrating his 53rd year in television, announced Tuesday he would step down from his lead college football role at CBS Sports following the 2016 season.

Season tickets for Kentucky’s seven home games in 2016 are available through ukfootballtix.com and the UK Ticket Office. Fans may order by placing a $50 deposit per seat, and they will receive a seat selection appointment time to choose seat locations the week of June 6. Season ticket packages start at just $210 per seat. All season ticket holders are also able to purchase away game tickets and additional home game tickets at exclusive rates until June 21 through their My UK Account or by calling the UK Ticket Office at 800-928-2287. Tickets will be assigned according to K Fund priority rankings and will be based on seating availability.

Mini-packs and single-game tickets will be available to the general public later this summer. To be notified via email when those tickets go on sale, non-season ticket holders should call the UK Ticket Office to create a ticket account and be added to the football email list.

UK will kick off the 2016 season on Saturday, Sept. 3 vs. Southern Miss in Commonwealth Stadium. It will mark the Wildcats’ first meeting against the Golden Eagles since 1986.

  1. I hate to say it, but the odds are playing the Gators at home will probably result in 30 straight wins for the Gators over UK, and the hapless state of Kentucky football will remain constant in 2016. Stoops’ team is gonna have to prove it to me from here on out. Tired of all the talking.
