Blue  Zoom WiFi in Harrodsburg never hesitated when it had a chance to be a sponsor my my weekly show during Kentucky football season the last few years and also was the first sponsor to come on board when I went on  my own with www.vaughtsviews.com.

I asked co-owner Sonya Wilson what made Blue Zoom WiFi want to be associated with a UK website.

We decided to sponsor because we love UK sports and want it to be shared with Kentucky. We want the Big Blue Nation to know that we support them and that we will do our very best to provide them with the best wireless internet out there,” Wilson said.

That should be obvious from the company name.

“Blue Zoom WiFi became incorporated in August of 2010. Our original office was in Salvisa, We decided to move to Harrodsburg a few years ago to better serve our customers.  We are a locally family owned business that strives to have a close relationship with our customers and pride ourselves in the work and customer service we provide.  We have grown from one customer to well on our way to 2,000 customers,” Wilson said.

“When we decided to open Blue Zoom the first thing we had to do was decide what to call it.  We are all UK fans and we wanted something that suggested fast, strong internet.  So we went with Blue Zoom.  Blue because UK always works hard to win the game and never gives up and we all are UK die-hard fans and Zoom because it signals lightning speed internet.  We have all been fans since birth I think!”

That’s obvious when you visit the office.
“The majority of us love UK basketball but we also follow all UK sports.  We even have our front office painted blue,” she said.

Blue Zoom WiFi obviously services Mercer County but also reaches into Anderson and Woodford counties. Wilson says the company hopes to soon have service available in Danville.
