With the SEC Tournament opening Wednesday night in Nashville, I reached out to Kentucky fan Kindly Myers of Nashville for a little pre-tourney Q&A that I hope you enjoy. You might remember that Myers was featured on the front of a recent Kentucky Basketball Calendar and is also a former National Guard member as well as a model now.

Question: How excited are you to have SEC Tournament coming back to Nashville?
Myers: “I’m always so happy when Kentucky comes to Nashville. I really like seeing that blue everywhere.”

Question: Do you enjoy the games or the interaction with so many UK fans the most?
Myers: “Both, I do love to meet all of the fans. I watch the games at Tootsies and I love when there is a crowd cheering the Cats on inside the bar.”

Question: What advice would you have for fans who might come to Nashville and not have tickets to games?
Myers: “There will be people selling tickets outside the arena. Or … you could just come watch with me on the third floor of Tootsies on Broadway.”

Question: Where would you recommend for fans looking for a place to eat downtown between games?
Myers: There are several great restaurants on Broadway. Jack’s Barbecue is always a Nashville favorite.”

Question: Who wins the tournament?
Myers: “Of course Kentucky wins.”

Kindly Myers expects a lot of other UK fans to join her at Tootsies to watch UK games.

Question: What about an update on the UK hockey calendar that I know you would like to be on?
Myers: “It has always been a dream of mine to have my photo on the hockey calendar as so many other beautiful Kentucky women have. Hopefully you will see me on there next season. Fingers crossed.”

Question: Finally, where can UK fans find you?
Myers: On Friday and Saturday I will be working across the street from Bridgestone Arena. At Tootsies Orchid Lounge. You can’t miss it. It’s the only purple building around. I can’t wait to see everyone. I’ll be at the rooftop bar.”
