“Destination: Houston – Wildcats in the NCAA” will air on affiliates across Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky fans can fill their insatiable appetite for UK men’s basketball postseason basketball action with a pre-tournament television special, “Destination: Houston – Wildcats in the NCAA,” that will air across the state of Kentucky on Wednesday and Thursday and on UKathletics.com.

“Destination: Houston,” presented by UK Healthcare, will be a one-hour look at the 26-8 Wildcats as they try to build off another incredible season that featured a share of the Southeastern Conference regular-season championship and the SEC Tournament title.

With exclusive and behind-the-scenes access, the one-hour special will offer Kentucky fans with everything they need to know about their beloved Wildcats as they make yet another NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach John Calipari.

The special will include a preview of the NCAA opener vs. Stony Brook, with features on the coaches, players and fans. Interviews include an exclusive one-on-one with Calipari, interviews and reaction from the players following the NCAA Tournament Selection Show party at Calipari’s house, and interviews with other special guests. “Destination: Houston” will also take a look back at the exciting regular season, including special features from the esteemed UK Sports Video department.

Hosted by Brian Milam and UK All-American Kyle Macy with reporting from Rob Bromley and Lee K Howard in Des Moines, Iowa, along with analysis from Dick Gabriel, the tournament special will air Wednesday night and Thursday across Kentucky. Starting Thursday, it will be available on UKathletics.com. Check your local listings for availability.
